The management of MOLL Batteries congratulated Werner Pohl in the presence of his colleagues on his 50th company anniversary.
Werner Pohl can still very well remember the company's founder Peter J. Moll. Under his leadership, he learned his profession at MOLL and gained much experience. He has brought his knowledge and experience to the company with dedication and profit, passing it on to his colleagues. Werner Pohl is recognized and appreciated by all employees. He himself recalls his time at MOLL: "It was interesting and moving to experience MOLL's ups and downs over decades and to contribute to its development and continued existence until today. Working together with colleagues has brought me much joy."
On August 19, 1974, Werner Pohl began his apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at MOLL. After successfully completing his training, Werner Pohl worked in sales.
After qualifying as a certified industrial specialist in 1994, he took on increasing responsibility at MOLL and shaped the development in his area. During the 50 Years at MOLL ceremony, Professor Urban praised Werner Pohl's work: "His loyalty to the company over decades, allegiance, and responsible actions were of invaluable worth to MOLL. Special thanks go to him for his proactive participation in MOLL's new start in June 2021. I thank him and his family for the decision not to focus solely on enjoying his well-deserved retirement but to continue supporting MOLL with advice and action."
Managing Director Dr. Klaus Eichhorn also thanked Werner Pohl for his dedicated work: "Beyond his activities in sales, he was a valuable and reliable partner. With his ideas about batteries, he is still consulted today for important decisions. His decades of work serve as a role model for us and reinforces our commitment to preserve MOLL's tradition and continue it into the future."
